County Profile
Osceola County is located in the west central portion of Michigan's lower peninsula.  The land is predominately agricultural and open space.  Although located in a rural setting Osceola County is within approximately an hour of several of Michigan's larger communities, such as Grand Rapids, Traverse City, and Mt. Pleasant. Come enjoy rural living with easy access to amenities typically found only in larger communities!   

County Parks
The Osceola County Parks Commission operates two parks.  Each park is both a day use and extended stay park.  Camping is available by the day, week, month, or season so come enjoy clean, well-maintained facilities and grounds, friendly helpful staff, and a variety of recreational activities.    

Rose Lake Park is a 48-acre park situated on Rose Lake and bordered by a forest.  The park has 162 campsites (150 modern/12 primitive) and a boat launch.  Sportsman enjoy fishing while recreational enthusiasts enjoy amenities such as a swimming beach, mini-golf, shuffleboard court, picnic area with pavilions, playground, basketball court, and ballfield.  Additionally, Rose Lake Park is located near the White Pine Trail.

Crittenden Park is a 10-acre park located on Big Lake and is also bordered by a forest.   The park has 89 campsites (79 modern/10 primitive).  A Department of Natural Resources boat launch is adjacent to the park.   Sportsman enjoy fishing while recreational enthusiasts enjoy amenities such as a swimming beach, picnic area with pavilions, playground, and volleyball and basketball courts.  Additionally, Crittenden Park is located near the Pere Marquette State Trail
Chambers of Commerce
The cities of Evart and Reed City, as well as the Village of Marion each have a chamber of commerce.
