Michigan Small Business Development Center

Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Region 3

The mission of the statewide network of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) in Michigan is to achieve government contracting success for clients through the connection of educational resources, advanced-level counseling engagements, and network/resource introductions. Their services include One-On-One Counseling, Bid Matching, Proposal Preparation & Submission, Government Registration Assistance, Federal Subcontracting Assistance, State of Michigan Contracting Assistance, Post-Win Assistance, and Seminars, Training Events & Workshops.

There are 10 PTAC offices around the State.  They are staffed by trained contracting specialists that will assist you through the government contracting process from start to finish.  Osceola County is served by the Muskegon Area First PTAC (231) 722-7700.


Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE)    

The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) offers the nation's largest, network of free, expert business mentors. SCORE has over 10,000 volunteers in more than 300 chapters across the nation. Offices near Osceola County are located in Ludington, Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Holland, and Petosky; however, you can also access some of their resources online.  Go to the SCORE website for additional information to include contact information for all SCORE offices.
