Items Accepted At Recycling Centers

Would you like to recycle but not sure of what is or isn't recyclable?  Hopefully this list will help.  The following items are accepted at all four recycling centers in Osceola County.

            Curbside Recycling in the City of Evart

   Residents in the City of Evart have access to curbside recycling.  Recyclables accepted include newspaper, magazines, catalogs, boxboard, cardboard, brown bags, clear glass, brown glass, plastic #1 & #2, aluminum, and tin.  Glass, plastic, aluminum and tin can be co-mingled.

                                       All recyclables that are collected are taken to the Isabella Recycling Center in Mount Pleasant.  If you have any questions please contact the Evart city offices at 734-2181.           

Did You Know... Each of us produces 4.4 pounds of solid waste each day, adding up to almost a ton of trash per person, per year.
