Brownfield Redevelopment Authority Board of Directors
Mission: To assist in the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of real property which may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant.
Bylaws: Yes; Bylaws of the Osceola County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority
Number of Members & Term of Office: Not less than five members and not more than nine members. Members serve three year terms.
Quorum Requirement: A majority of the members in office providing between five to nine members are in office.
Meetings Held: As called by the Board Chair or at the request of any two Board members. Meetings are held at the County Courthouse, 301 W. Upton, Reed City, Michigan. The Board is not currently holding meetings due to the fact that it has expended all of its funding. A Fiscal Year 2017 grant application has been submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for additional funding. Grant awards will be announced in the Spring 2017.
