Public Meeting
Discussing Possible Submission of Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund
(MNRTF) Application
The Osceola County Parks Commission is holding a
public meeting on February 7, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Courthouse in Reed
City in order to receive public comment concerning a possible submission
of a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) grant application. The
project involves repairs to the south restroom at the Rose Lake Park.
Welcome to the Osceola County Parks.
The Osceola County Parks system includes two unique county parks with day
use and camping opportunities. The Osceola County Parks Commission
invites you to spend a day, a weekend, a vacation, or the entire summer
season. To enhance your your outdoor experience, Osceola County
offers limitless opportunities for both the sportsman and recreational
enthusiast.
The Osceola County Parks is seeking host campers.
Do you enjoy camping and helping others? If so you may want to
consider being a Host Camper. Host campers may volunteer on a weekly,
monthly, or seasonal basis. In exchange host campers are provided a
campsite at the campground at which they are assigned. Host campers
assist the Park Manager in a variety of duties. Duties may include providing
information to others, organizing camping activities, performing campground
maintenance, patrolling the campground, or other tasks. The Osceola County Parks
is currently accepting applications from individuals interested in
