BOARD MINUTES
The Osceola County Board of Commissioners meeting was called
to order at
Roll Call: Present-Commissioners Brock, Hoaglund, Sikkema, Tiedt, Faber, Brooks and Emig.
Chairman Emig explained the purpose of this meeting was to elect the Vice-Chairman for 2008 and form the committee structure of the Board.
Motion by Commissioner Sikkema to nominate Commissioner Brooks for Vice-Chairman, support by Commissioner Tiedt.
Motion by Commissioner Brooks to nominate Commissioner Hoaglund for Vice-Chairman, support by Commissioner Faber.
Motion by Commissioner Faber, support by Commissioner Sikkema to close nominations for Vice-Chairman. Motion carried.
Chairman Emig called for a vote, by a show of hands, for Commissioner Brooks for Vice-Chairman. Commissioner Brooks received four (4) votes.
Chairman Emig called for a vote, by a show of hands, for Commissioner Hoaglund for Vice-Chairman. Commissioner Hoaglund received three (3) votes.
Commissioner Brooks elected as Vice-Chairman for 2008.
A brief discussion was held on the past year’s board assignments. All those present seemed satisfied with the structure in 2007.
Motion by Commissioner Brock, support by Commissioner Faber to leave the committee board assignments the same as for year 2007. Motion carried.
Board discussed the meeting dates for full Board meetings and the committee meeting dates.
Moved by Commissioner Sikkema, support by Commissioner Tiedt
to adjourn at
