PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED 2008 OSCEOLA COUNTY BUDGET

November 6, 2007

11:30 a.m.

The Osceola County Board of Commissioners was called to order at 11:30 a.m. by Chairman Larry Emig.

Roll Call: Present-Commissioners Hoaglund, Sikkema, Tiedt, Brooks and Emig. Absent-Commissioners Brock and Faber.

Brief public comment: None.

Employee comment: None.

Commissioner Emig opened the public hearing on the proposed 2008 Osceola County Budget.

Susan VanderPol, County Coordinator, thanked the Board for the conversion to the new BS&A software this year. The BS&A programs made it much easier to compile the budget data than in the past. She has had some questions from a few commissioners about the reports, and with the suggestions made, will be working to simplify the information for future years. She asked if anyone had any other questions regarding the proposed 2008 County Budget.

No questions from Board members or any public were asked.

Motion by Commissioner Brooks, support by Commissioner Hoaglund to close the public hearing at 11:35 a.m. Motion carried.

Motion by Commissioner Brooks, support by Commissioner Sikkema to adjourn the Board meeting at 11:36 a.m. Motion carried.
